• Tainted Pet Food-Kidney Illness Link - Cases of kidney failure among cats rose by 30 percent during the three months that pet food contaminated with an industrial chemical was sold.

• Yahoo flashes big Viacom ring in front of Google - Viacom announced today that Yahoo will be the exclusive provider of search ads for 33 Viacom sites, including the online homes of MTV, VH1, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon. Itâ??s a multi-year deal that could grow to include 140 more sites.
• Niche Social Networks Offer Target Practice - MySpace boasts the most page views of any site but marketers are focusing on networks barely a fraction of its size to serve as marketing test beds. The obvious advantage of niche networks: advertisers are less likely to talk to the wrong consumers.
• Pet food insider sold shares before recall - The chief financial officer of Menu Foods Income Fund says it’s a “horrible coincidence” that he sold nearly half his units in the troubled pet food maker less than three weeks before a massive recall of tainted pet food.
• What’s Jesus drink? Coke? Not this year - According to local press reports, the movie features an Italian ad executive who offers the returned Christ a can of Coca-Cola and, seeing Jesus drinking the beverage, thinks: “What a testimonial!”
