Team Bio - Lauren

Lauren graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) in 1982 and honed her skills at Mann Bukvic and Stockton West Burkhart before founding the Creative Department in 1992. The design heart of the Creative Department, Lauren’s mission is to ensure that everything we create is visually arresting and delivers the most impact.

What Are A Few Of Your Favorite Things?

Summers in the Adirondack Mountains
No phones. No computers. Just canoeing on the rivers and lakes of upstate New York with my husband and family.

Snorkeling
Preferably somewhere in Hawaii. I love the thrill of discovery.

Antique Shows and Flea Markets
I believe in recycling and love the idea of taking something old and making it new again. And, of course, there’s that thrill of discovery.

Downhill Skiing
I’ve skied in the Northeast and Midwest and I’m slowly making my way west. My goal is to ski the Rockies – where the real snow lives!

Gourmet Cooking with Friends
Or should I say attempting to create gourmet meals. Regardless of how it turns out, relaxing around our outdoor fire pit with great bottle of wine makes it all worthwhile.
