PRESSIUS RELEASUS

March 23, 2010 - Cincinnati, Ohio - Record-breaking Senior Brand Leader joins Cincinnati Ad Agency.

Jacquelyn Baker joins The Creative Department this week as Senior Brand Leader. The Cincinnati agency is defying the economy by thriving and coming dangerously close to reaching maximum occupancy in its downtown office building. As the latest addition, Jacquelyn will be responsible for several powerhouse brands including Macy’s and LexisNexis.

Jacquelyn did a stint with Anthem Worldwide where she was knee-deep in several P&G brands. Most recently she comes from Luxottica Retail where she managed long-term strategic development for the LensCrafters brand. Let’s just say her marketing vision is 20/20.

She’s an Illinois native but has called the Queen City home for more than decade. She holds bachelors degrees in Marketing and International Business from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. When she’s not leading brands at The Creative Department, Jacquelyn guest lectures for collegiate-level business courses at UC and Xavier. She has a bubbly personality and to prove it, she’s in the Guinness Book of World Records as part of the world’s largest Mentos/Diet Coke fountain. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband Matt and cocker spaniel Eddie.

Founded in 1992, the Creative Department is an ad agency that has built business by breathing life into brands and framing communications in delightfully compelling ways—whether traditional, interactive or guerilla. Their rebel band of 26 (and counting) highly creative individuals includes creative directors, brand directors, writers, art directors, production artists, project managers, designers and interactive marketers and developers. Their now-bursting portfolio includes initiatives within several divisions of Procter & Gamble, Macy’s, Cintas, Hill-Rom, LexisNexis and i-wireless, as well as stirring up the local marketplace with Busken Bakery, Yagööt and The Party Source.
