Cincinnatians Get Charged for the Second Annual Celebration of “All Things Digital”
PRESSIUS RELEASUS
September 10, 2009 - Cincinnati, Ohio - The Creative Department gears up to help sponsor the Second Annual Digital Hub Non-Conference held this September.
Last fall, creative minds throughout the region united in celebration of “All Things Digital” in advertising, marketing, PR and graphic design at Cincinnati’s first Digital Hub Non-Conference. Inspired by the phenomenal success of the event, The Creative Department helped design DigitalCincinnati.org to promote an even more dynamic Second Annual Digital Hub Non-Conference this September.
Understanding that digital innovation relies on a diversity of input, The Creative Department developed the site to invite maximum participation in a relaxed, approachable environment. Abandoning traditional conference structure, the Non-Conference site guarantees a more comprehensive opportunity for dialogue, addressing “All Things Digital” through a reciprocal exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Hoping to entice a new wave of digital talent to this year’s conference, the site has a hip, urban appeal, and promotes social opportunities such as the career fair and the Midpoint Music Festival.
“With exceptional talent emerging from regional colleges and universities we’re aiming to inspire students and new grads to get oriented with Cincinnati’s digital industry,” explains Creative Department partner Steve Deiters. “The site promises an opportunity for job networking in a fun, relaxed environment.”
The initiative of the Digital Hub Non-Conference is based on strengthening Cincinnati’s reputation as the leader in “All Things Digital” in the fields of advertising, marketing, PR and graphic design.
“We’re working with other local organizations and agencies to inform the region about digital opportunities in the area,” explains Deiters. “We want to create an even greater buzz surrounding the remarkable things Cincinnati has contributed, and still has yet to contribute to the digital world.”
The Non-Conference, centered at the Hyatt Regency on September 24 and 25, offers breakout sessions at various locations throughout downtown Cincinnati . Registering for the event also allows participants three free nights of admission to the Midpoint Music Festival in Over the Rhine. Events begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, and run until 5 p.m. (with registration from 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m.), and run again Friday, September 25, from 8:30 until 4 p.m.
DigitalCincinnati.org offers easy access to register for the conference, with discounted rates for AdClub members as well as students. It’s an easy and fun way to get involved with Cincinnati’s ever-growing digital community, so register before it’s too late!
