AdClub Builds a New Website – and the Web of Members Grows.

PRESSIUS RELEASUS

August 18, 2009 - Cincinnati, Ohio - The Creative Department helps the Advertising Club of Cincinnati refresh their digital image with the launch of a new website, AdClubCincy.org.

For over a century, the Advertising Club of Cincinnati (AdClub) has opened the channels of communication and interaction between creative agencies across the region. Understanding the need to digitalize their network, AdClub called in The Creative Department for insight on developing a savvy, yet simple, online hub that spoke the language of creative minds in a polished and playful way.

With years of experience designing eye-catching, award-winning websites for clients, The Creative Department has a keen understanding on the elements of successful, digital media design; developing AdClub’s site, however, required the greater challenge of wowing fellow advertising experts.

“We knew that enticing some of the most skilled ad professionals in the industry would require a clean presentation of AdClub’s image,” says Creative Department partner and creative director Steve Deiters. “It needed to be easily navigable while showing the club’s benefits for individual agencies and the entire community alike.”

Rather than create a site that simply provides information, The Creative Department chose to construct an interactive forum where peers could find both facts and fun. Features include “The Deluxe Ad Randomizer”, an interactive application to amuse and inspire visitors, photo highlights from past AdClub events, and a shopping cart for purchasing membership packages or admission to events. Built on a content management system, AdClub has the ability to edit the information based on news and events.

“Our goal was to bring a flavor of AdClub to life online,” explains Deiters. “The site coveys all information in a conversational, easily comprehensible manner, catering to advertising enthusiasts both new and seasoned.”

With new events on the horizon, such as the second annual Digital Hub Non-Conference in October, AdClub continues to work tirelessly to synthesize knowledge and inspire ingenuity in Cincinnati’s advertising and marketing community.

So, go on, visit www.adclubcincy.org – have fun, get the buzz, be inspired.
